New Rumor Suggests WWE Planning Usos Reunion After Jey Uso’s Title Loss

WWE is reportedly up for a huge tag-team move: The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) might reunite later this year, according to inside sources.

This comes after Jey Uso lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther on the June 9 episode of RAW. The match ended when his own sleeper hold was reversed, mirroring the move Jey had used to claim the title at WrestleMania 41. So with Jey’s 51-day solo run over, WWE is now moving on.

There were rumblings that WWE was looking to pair The Usos back together sometime this year and with Jey dropping the World Heavyweight Championship it’s looking like that could be the direction. The question is how does WWE get them back together in a story on TV,” said Cory Hays on X.

A reunion would bring together one of WWE’s most decorated teams, including record-breaking reigns and historic title runs. The last time The Usos were officially competing as a tag team was at WrestleMania 39 in April 2023. They defended the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn and lost, ending their record run.

But there’s one catch: Jimmy Uso is on SmackDown, while Jey is on RAW, so that’s a logistical hurdle. But WWE has plenty of tools to get the twins back together.

Meanwhile, WWE’s 2025 draft is rumored to take place after SummerSlam, which could be the perfect opportunity to get the brothers on the same brand. That could set up a big tag division shake-up and maybe a new storyline for The Bloodline.
