More reports have emerged on the negative reputation Jade Cargill has developed in the WWE locker room.
Jade Cargill was one of AEW’s biggest stars during the company’s short history. With her look and hard hitting style, she had a presentation that seemed larger than life. It just felt like sooner or later she would bring that massive potential to the top company in the industry, WWE.

That finally came in 2023 when she switched sides and was at the center of a “bidding war” between WWE Raw, Smackdown, and NXT. Due to her limited experience in the ring, the promotion has kept her in tag matches to better learn the craft. However, she has still been presented like a big star and has recently been a part of a fun mystery attacker storyline.
Yet, while fans have grown to like the former AEW star, it seems she has not been as well received in the locker room. On Friday, a report emerged that there was nearly a backstage altercation between her and Shayna Baszler over how she has carried herself in the company. Obviously, it has not been in a good way. Well, more news on her poor reputation emerged this week.
Jade Cargill’s recent social post further annoyed WWE locker room
During her recent hiatus, Jade Cargill posted a video on her social media account where she said she was “demanding respect” and was surrounded by wolves in the shape of women all around her. Fightful Select revealed that the post drew a lot of negative attention in the women’s locker room and further added to the poor reputation she has developed since last year.
It specifically offended certain performers who tried to keep the issues with Baszler out of the media. Earlier this month, women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green responded to the video by saying “Imagine calling your coworkers ‘wolves’ while demanding respect.” The post included a picture of Green with her dogs.
It is not a great look that Cargill is just over a year into her WWE career and is already not liked by many of her co-workers. The same women who will have a key role in making her a star in the years ahead.
