Just before the women’s Elimination Chamber match, Cargill ambushed Naomi and took her out of the match. The surprise attack was an absolute shocker to the WWE Universe and Cargill delivered a clear message to her alleged attacker. But in WWE, the drama for Cargill isn’t just in the ring — it also seems to be backstage.
A Closer Look at Jade Cargill’s Backstage Confrontation
“It’s been confirmed by a half dozen people that it happened but nobody went into details past Cargill had rubbed enough people in the Raw women’s division the wrong way and Baszler was wanting to fight her until management found out and calmed the situation down,” Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported this week.
Despite the tension created by the incident that allegedly happened in June, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair held onto their titles. Successfully defending them against Bazler and Zooey Stark at King and Queen of the Ring. They eventually lost the belts to The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) at Clash at the Castle: Scotland but regained them at Bash in Berlin.
