WWE delivered history at their recent event in Madison Square Garden, NXT Roadblock. The card featured some spectacular in-ring matches. However, the major highlight of the night was the ‘Title vs Title match’ between international sensations Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer.
The two gladiators battled it out in the main event with both the NXT Women’s and Women’s North American Championships on the line. A hard-fought and magnificent showdown saw Vaquer emerge victorious and become a double champion. As for Giulia, a new report offers a major update on her status following her defeat.

What is Giulia’s future following her defeat at WWE Roadblock?
It had been reported by various outlets that Giulia headed into the match with an injury. After NXT Roadblock, wrestling journalist Bryan Alvarez addressed Giulia’s status in the latest Wrestling Observer Live. He noted that Giulia was dealing with two issues. One was a minor visa issue, and the other was the previously reported injury which has been listed as undisclosed internally.
“I don’t know what it is, but she sure didn’t work like she was hurt… I don’t think it’s her knee,” Alvarez said. He also added that Giulia would be gone “for a while” but didn’t provide any further details.
Giulia’s career in WWE skyrocketed following her arrival in NXT last year. She was immediately positioned in top storylines. Furthermore, Giulia reached the pinnacle of the developmental brand by dethroning Roxanne Perez at NXT New Years Evil.
