Report Reveals If CM Punk And Seth Rollins Have Resolved Backstage Drama Following WWE Raw On Netflix Match

Many WWE fans wonder if the long-running issues between CM Punk and Seth Rollins still exist. Well, a WWE Hall-of-Famer claims despite delivering a great match together at the Raw on Netflix debut, the two still don’t care for each other.

When CM Punk made his stunning return to WWE at the 2023 Survivor Series, new and old fans of the company were overjoyed. The multi-time world champion had a legendary run in the company. But he left on very bad terms and had nothing good to say about WWE during his time away.

One person in particular who was irate about seeing “Cult of Personality” back in WWE was Seth Rollins. He waved the flag of WWE in Punk’s time away and was one of his biggest public detractors. Their real and fictional issues made for a fantastic build-up to their main event matchup on Monday Night Raw’s debut on Netflix.

Considering how well they have worked together, some wrestling fans are curious if the two have squashed their beef. However, WWE Hall-of-Famer Bubba Ray Dudley, of all people, recently gave a major update on their real-life feud.

“No matter how much the boys hate each other, if we’re around each other for a year, things kind of subside,” Ray explained during a new edition of “Busted Open Radio (h/t Wrestling Inc). “Our professionalism kicks in. We’re not best friends, but we’re on a ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ basis. Cordial, professional courtesy.”

However, Dudley claims he spoke to someone he trusts backstage recently. And it seems things haven’t gotten cordial yet between the two WWE legends.

“The word that I got from a very, very, very trusted friend and confidant within the WWE was, these two guys, although maintaining the utmost levels of professionalism, do not like each other to this day,” he said. “Seth Rollins does not like CM Punk at all. Punk can’t stand what Rollins has turned into. There is very real animosity.”

Here’s hoping the two can eventually make amends before their runs in the company come to an end.
