CM Punk is one of the biggest draws for WWE. The Best in the World missed out on WrestleMania last year due to suffering a triceps injury. But this year, Punk seems laser-focused on making it to The Show of Shows without getting injured, and WWE reportedly has plans in place for him.
The former WWE Champion has delivered exceptional matches ever since he returned to in-ring action. Moreover, CM Punk‘s rivalry with Drew McIntyre and his recent performance in the WarGames match has cemented the claim that he has still left a lot of gas in the tank.

With the approaching new year, one of CM Punk’s top priorities is participating in WrestleMania. The event is set to take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. While WWE might have had early plans in discussion, one of them pertains to CM Punk’s involvement at the show.
What are WWE’s reported plans for CM Punk at WrestleMania 41?

According to a new report by WrestleVotes on a Backstage Pass Q&A, WWE wants to slate CM Punk in a World Championship match at WrestleMania 41. It also revealed that they had been hearing WWE all year to have Punk in the match. They also believed that it would not take place against the current Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes.
The report stated, “I’ve heard almost all year is they want him to be involved in a world title match. I don’t know how the puzzle pieces are going to fit but they want him at the top. I don’t think it’ll be with Cody, so that’s one title match out the window.”
While WrestleMania is still a few months away, CM Punk has a blockbuster match coming up. The Second City Saint is set to collide against his arch-rival, Seth Rollins, on RAW’s debut show on Netflix. The match was rumored to take place at WrestleMania 41. However, with the match being shifted to RAW’s premiere on Netflix, Punk is definitely slated to battle a different opponent at The Showcase of the Immortals.
Moreover, with the report hinting that his match would not be against Cody Rhodes, CM Punk is likely to be scheduled for a match for the World Heavyweight Championship. So it will be interesting if the match happens on the Grandest Stage of them all.
