We last saw Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, when he lost the trilogy to Cody Rhodes. He was set to return during the Royal Rumble match, but was replaced by Bron Breakker. Basically, WWE had to think quick because Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis had been named in a lawsuit from a former employee. She accused them of sexual harassment, sexual assault and human trafficking. Any of those charges, if investigated, could land someone in prison for the rest of their life.

While not named directly in the court documents, a former UFC Heavyweight Champion turned WWE superstar was mentioned. By default, that only describes Lesnar. After the Royal Rumble, Lesnar was supposed to wrestle Dominik Mysterio at the Elimination Chamber. The reasoning is Dominik would have eliminated Lesnar during the Royal Rumble match. Then, he was set to faec Gunther at WrestleMania 40. Instead, Lesnar was not seen the entire weekend, but his name was dropped several times.

Different Than Vince McMahon And John Laurinaitis

Now, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, states a Lesnar return is only a matter of time. “We’d been told a few weeks ago that it was one of those deals unlike McMahon and John Laurinaitis who are likely never coming back, in that at some point he’d be back,” said Dave Meltzer. “We were also told at that time it wasn’t going to be that soon and it was nothing in the immediate plans.” We will see how fans react to Lesnar’s return. If they turn on him, WWE might want to think about going a different direction.

For Lesnar, he might want to contemplate retirement. He has done plenty in WWE and UFC, with nothing left to accomplish. No matter what happens, fans will remember that Lesnar was likely part of the lawsuits Vince is now facing. If anything, it tell us “The Beast” is not a good person. So, any interest in a Brock Lesnar WWE return or should he stay away for good?
