When the fall of Vince McMahon occurred, he took a majority of the heat. Although, John Laurentiis and Brock Lesnar were also mentioned. Of course, Vince is being looked at for several disturbing charges such as harassment, sexual abuse and human trafficking. While no charges have been filed, it seems like the government is keep a close eye. As a result, the TKO board somehow convinced Vince to resign. Laurentiis was already fired about a year prior and while not specifically named in the lawsuit against Vince, it did mention a former UFC heavyweight champion was also involved.

We have not seen Lesnar on TV since dropping the trilogy to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023. They feuded for most of the year, with Lesnar briefly working opposite Omos. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer stated only 1 thing is left before “The Beast” can return “Regarding any rumors of Lesnar returning, he has to be cleared by WWE legal,” said Meltzer. “Remember, WWE is still a defendant in the Janel Grant lawsuit, and that hasn’t happened yet.”

Brock Lesnar Removal Changed Huge WWE Plans

Before everything with Vince went went public, Lesnar was set to return during the Men’s Royal Rumble Match in January. Due to the late change, Bron Breakker took Lesnar’s spot. That would supposedly see Dominik Mysterio eliminate Lesnar to create a match at the Elimination Chamber. Then, he would face Gunther at WrestleMania 40 in what many wanted to see. Therefore, fans missed-out on several big moments. If Lesnar does return, all previous ideas would be tossed.

Even if WWE gives the okay, there is no telling how the fans might react. Overall, Vince has been blacklisted from pro wrestling and people are keeping a distance from those he knows well. Brock will be 47 years old next month and he can probably retire right now. And, he seems like the type who could leave and be content. So, is a Brock Lesnar WWE return going to happen in the near future?
