Apart from that, the night some explosive in-ring matches, war of words between superstars and memorable moments that further intensified the road to WrestleMania 41.

Best Match

The main event of this week’s WWE RAW stole the show, pitting the upstart Penta against Bron Breakker for his WWE Intercontinental Championship. Breakker’s explosive strength went up against the high-flying style of Penta that captivated the crowd of Scotland like no other.

While the ending was abrupt, the inclusion of Finn Balor and his Judgment Day cohorts added more drama to the IC title storyline heading into WrestleMania 41. Balor stood tall, taking out both Penta and Breakker as the show came to a close.

Out of the four matches that took place, Lyra Valkyria vs Raquel Rodriguez failed to deliver expectations. The crowd has less interest despite Lyra trying to battle the numbers game with Liv Morgan at ringside. Moreover, the finish was a poor surprise roll-up, and Bayley came to the aid of Valkyria, making her look weak as champion.

Noteworthy Moments

The most noteworthy moment was another verbal rant by John Cena to open the show. He was met with loud boos but continued his verbal rant on the fans. Cena claimed that he would retire as World Champion, erasing Ric Flair’s legacy and becoming the ‘last real champion’ of WWE. Cody Rhodes came out to dare him to take his title, but Cena chose to walk out looking strong as a heel another week.

One more highlight of the night was CM Punk’s promo segment, in which he took shots at AEW. He said, ‘I work with children,’ which is a direct reference to the night of the All Out brawl that happened backstage at the event, and the same words Punk said that night during the press conference. Lastly, Punk announced that a contract signing will take place on SmackDown in London between him, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins this week.

The last noteworthy moment was when Adam Pearce announced that Rhea Ripley was not a part of the WWE Women’s World title match at WrestleMania 41 despite signing the contract last week. As Rhea, IYO Sky, and Bianca Belair came to the ring, Pearce granted Ripley one more title shot against IYO Sky, and the segment ended in another all-out brawl.

Holy Sh!@ Moments

The only Holy Sh!@ moment of the night came during a backstage segment. This came after Jimmy and Jey Uso defeated A-Town Down Under in a tag team match. After the match, Gunther attacked the brothers. Jey was ready to deliver the spear, but he tripped and allowed Gunther to attack him further before Jimmy intervened.

Jimmy tried to motivate Jey backstage as he had been botching his moves heading into WrestleMania. He then met Gunther who revealed he will battle Jimmy Uso next week on WWE RAW. He took a shot at Jey by saying that Jimmy should not botch like him, which led to Jimmy slapping him real hard in a shocking moment.

Dragon Lee vs El Grande Americano was an exciting bout, but the fans were not that much invested despite witnessing a classic lucha libre bout. Moreover, the fans clearly saw shades of Chad Gable as El Grande ripped off Dragon Lee’s mask and locked him in the ankle lock to win.

What’s in store for WWE RAW next week

WWE is set to return to the United States for next week’s WWE RAW. One of the top highlights of the night will be John Cena and Cody Rhodes going face-to-face with each other. Simutaneously, Logan Paul would be looking to call AJ Styles on RAW.

Furthermore, two explosive matches have been announced for the show. IYO Sky will defend her WWE Women’s World title against Rhea Ripley with Bianca Belair as the Special Guest Referee. Lastly, Gunther will battle Jimmy Uso and look to take revenge for the slap he gave him on WWE RAW this week.
