WWE RAW presented the April 14th, 2025, edition of the show from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. This was the final episode before WrestleMania 41, which produced some explosive moments and matches for the night.
Furthermore, the fans witnessed yet another chaotic ending to the show. However, it was not before Roman Reigns’ actions towards Paul Heyman hinted at the potential end of their alliance.
Quick Results
- Bayley defeated Liv Morgan in a singles match.
- Rey Mysterio defeated Julius Creed in a singles match.
- AJ Styles defeated Karrion Kross in a singles match.
- Penta vs Finn Balor match ended in a double disqualification.
Best Match
In our opinion, every match on the WWE RAW card was exceptional. To pick one bout as the best match of the night, we have to go with the opening contest, Bayley vs. Liv Morgan. Both women put up a captivating bout at the start of the night that garnered loud cheers from the audience.
Moreover, the ending saw Raquel Rodriguez interfere, but Bayley interfered. This led to her partner, Lyra Valkyria, making her presence felt as well. As Liv Morgan threw Bayley in the ropes, she attempted the Oblivion, but Valkyria held her, leading to Morgan falling back. This gave Bayley the opening to connect with the Roseplant to seal the victory.
Worst Match
While it was difficult to choose the worst match this week on WWE RAW, we will have to go with Rey Mysterio’s bout against Julius Creed. Among all the matches, it drew the least reaction, although it was a good bout. However, the ending also saw the interference of El Grande Americano, and following Rey’s win, he took out all LWO members.
Noteworthy Moments
One of the biggest noteworthy moments came in the last segment of WWE RAW. As Seth Rollins fueled the fire in the tensions between Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, Reigns attacked him and then took down CM Punk, who came down to check on Paul Heyman. However, as Reigns planted him with a spear, Rollins came back and recreated the Shield breakup moment by hitting Reigns with a chair on his back.
Another highlight of the night was Gunther’s angry address towards Jey Uso. The Ring General was in no mood for games and issued a huge warning to Jey ahead of WrestleMania 41. He vowed to end him like he did to his brother, Jimmy Uso, and return to RAW next week, still the World Heavyweight Champion.
One more noteworthy moment of the night was Logan Paul standing tall over AJ Styles. After The Phenomenal One picked up a hard-fought victory over Karrion Kross, Paul came down and had some punches exchanged with Styles. In the end, he planted Styles with a Paulverizer and made a statement before their clash at WrestleMania 41.
The last major highlight was Penta delivering an exceptional diving crossbody on Bron Breakker, Dominik Mysterio, and Carlito, who were outside the ring. This came after the match between Penta and Finn Balor ended in a double disqualification following Breakker’s interference.
Holy Sh!@ Moments
The biggest shocker of the evening on WWE RAW this week was Roman Reigns making his choice after Paul Heyman was forced by CM Punk in his corner for WrestleMania 41. The OTC shoved down Paul Heyman to the mat, potentially hinting at the end of their alliance.
Another Holy Sh!@ Moment from this week’s RAW was the jaw-dropping double spear by Bron Breakker to Dominik Mysterio and Carlito after he interfered in the Penta vs Finn Balor match.
Lowlights
The only lowlight from this week’s edition was a generic Jey Uso promo. All he did was come out, cut an impressive promo, get the fans to YEET, and claim to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41. It was a typical Jey Uos thing, which was nothing more than a filler for the show.
