WWE has set up one of the most monumental WrestleMania clashes of all time between John Cena and Cody Rhodes. However, there was a major hint that might have pointed towards the winner of the showdown in Las Vegas.
The global juggernaut recently announced its entire match cards for WrestleMania 41 Nights 1 & 2. A clash of the generations will headline the second night of the show. It will see Rhodes defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cena, who turned heel last month.
The duo has been going back and forth against each other for weeks since Elimination Chamber. The last time they were in the ring, Rhodes left Cena on the mat after a Cross Rhodes. Heading into this weekend’s main event, Rhodes seems to be in a very strong position, however, WWE might have spoiled the result of the main event with their post-Mania plans.
John Cena to beat Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41?
The first show after the grand spectacle will be the infamous RAW after WrestleMania 41. It is set to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Top stars such as Rey Mysterio, Gunther, Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and AJ Styles have been advertised for the monumental show.
Moreover, John Cena has been featured on the promotional poster of RAW after WrestleMania. However, it was noticed this weekend that Cody Rhodes is not scheduled for one of the most important nights in WWE history. This could mean that Cena dethrones him to win his record-breaking 17th World Championship in his last WrestleMania as an in-ring performer.
Every year, world champions make an appearance on RAW after WrestleMania. But Rhodes’s absence is a huge indicator that his title reign might soon be coming to an end. However, there is another intriguing fact to note. Rhodes is officially set for next Friday’s SmackDown, so there is a chance that his first post-WrestleMania appearance comes for the blue brand instead of Monday Night RAW.
