WWE RAW was presented from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, this week. Some exciting in-ring matches capped the night, some tough moments to witness, and the build-up to WWE’s next Premium Live Event, Backlash, continued to heat up.
Furthermore, the major highlight of the night was Seth Rollins trying to influence Sami Zayn to get out of his way first. He then tried to lure him to his side, which he rejected, leading to him paying a hefty price with a huge beatdown.
Quick Results
- Rhea Ripley defeated Roxanne Perez via Disqualification in a singles match.
- The War Raiders defeated Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in a tag team match.
- Stephanie Vaquer defeated Ivy Nile in a singles match.

Best Match
Out of the scheduled bouts that took place on WWE RAW this week, the best match had to be Rhea Ripley vs Roxanne Perez. The Prodigy showed no fear in front of the dominant Mami and delivered an excellent effort. However, Ripley also showcased her raw power and strength in the match. It was an excellent match that garnered loud cheers from the audience.
However, in the end, Giulia attacked Rhea Ripley to cause a DQ finish. The duo continued to attack Ripley until IYO Sky came out to her aid, and they worked together to send Perez and Giulia packing.
Worst Match
Stephanie Vaquer, who was battling Ivy Nile, did not match up with the other matches that took place on WWE RAW this week. Apart from a few spots by Vaquer and her predicted win, there was nothing special about this in-ring showdown, with Ivy Nile missing out on a huge opportunity to showcase her ability.

Noteworthy Moments
One of the biggest highlights of the night came in the opening segment, which led to multiple moments. Seth Rollins came out with Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman. Sami Zayn confronted him about his new alliance, but Rollins countered with an offer to Zayn, asking him if he should move to SmackDown. Heyman also promised him an undisputed WWE title shot, and the Ultimate Underdog was seen getting advice from multiple stars regarding his decision.
Another noteworthy moment of the night was when Becky Lynch addressed her actions from last week. She revealed herself to be Bayley’s attacker and claimed that Lyra Valkyria would have never won the tag titles with her at WrestleMania 41. Valkyria came out and absolutely cooked her on the mic and even got into a physical altercation with her. This also led to Valkyria offering Lynch a WWE Women’s Intercontinental title match at WWE Backlash, which The Man accepted.
One more major highlight to note from this week’s WWE RAW was Pat McAfee addressing Gunther’s attack from last week. McAfee cut a passionate promo and told Nick Aldis that he was not happy with his suspension. Aldis made him an offer to lift the suspension and schedule a match between McAfee and Gunther for WWE Backlash, which he accepted.
The last noteworthy moment was from the last segment, where Sami Zayn came out to answer Seth Rollins’ offer. He talked about their real-life friendship, and Rollins also tried to lure him to his faction and join the future he was talking about. But in the end, Zayn told Rollins that he would not threaten him, told him to ‘go to hell’, and denied his proposal.
Holy Sh!@ Moments
The Holy Sh!@ Moments from this week’s edition of WWE RAW came from the last match of the night. After Sami Zayn rejected Seth Rollins’ offer, he was put into a match with Bron Breakker. It was an evenly matched showdown, but Breakker overpowered him towards the end. This saw him diving on Zayn to the announcer’s desk, which was jaw-dropping.
The next saw Bron Breakker delivering thunderous spears to Sami Zayn, which broke him in half and led to the officials stopping the match. In the end, Rollins also made an exclamation point by delivering a Stomp to him to end the show.
Lowlights
The tag team match between the War Raiders and Finn Balor & JD McDonagh was a good showdown, but nothing special. They put a good performance for tag team wrestling, but it was not much of a highlight for the night. Even the ending was chaotic as Carlito and Penta influenced the decision of the match.
Another lowlight was the segment between Jey Uso and Logan Paul. The Maverick announced his intentions to take away Jey’s World title and bragged about how much he achieved in four years, which was more than what Jey did in 15 years. The segment ended with the YEET man superkicking him which got the best reaction and hinting at an upcoming feud.
What’s in store for WWE RAW next week
Two matches were announced for WWE RAW next week. Rusev, who returned to WWE last week, will compete against Otis. On the other hand, after the events of this week, Penta will get his hands on JD McDonagh in a singles match next week.
