It’s time for our RAW results for December 16, 2024, and with the holidays upon us, we wonder who’s been naughty and nice!

Quick Results:
- Bron Breakker retains the Intercontinental Championship against Ludwig Kaiser.
- Zoey Stark defeats Kayden Carter and Raquel Rodriguez to advance in the women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament.
- War Raiders become new World Tag Team Champions, defeating Judgement Day with a mild assist from Damian Priest.
Best Match:
I love tag team wrestling. If you’ve been reading my stuff over the past decade-plus, you’ve seen me say it. So, no brainer, we get a really good tag title match as the main event and I was into it. Love seeing the War Raiders get gold once again.
Worst Match:
With only three matches, the worst was the fact we didn’t have a fourth or fifth.
Noteworthy Moments:
CM Punk and Seth Rollins came to a head. Will this be a Rumble match, or a Netflix RAW debut match? Answer a bit later from Pearce, it would indeed be a Netflix debut attraction.
Notable, Drew McIntyre tried to recruit Rollins, saying he should hate Jey and Sami for helping Roman. Rollins interestingly replied that he’d already taken Roman out of power, with the help of Sami and Jey, so he considers them friends.
Have to love the blurring of heels and faces to a point.
Reigns/Sikoa tribal combat has also been confirmed for the Netflix debut of RAW, though SmackDown made it pretty clear.
Holy Sh!@ Moments:
It’s hard to dislike how the New Day/Big E angle is unfolding. Last week, Xavier and Kofi got more heat than even Dom. This week?
Greeted at the locker room entrance by Rey Mysterio, telling the two to go elsewhere, that no one liked them.
One thing is for sure. There’s almost no way this doesn’t end up with a Big E in ring return, whether full time or for one night only.
Pretty sure we have a new talent incoming based on this vignette. And I suspect the comments are correct too.
Lowlights:
Just three matches on the night. I don’t know if I should blame it being a double taping or not, but that is what my gut tells me.
Mind you, we had the extra time filled with some good promos and backstage segments, so it wasn’t a total bust.
Highlights:
CM Punk? Strong promo.
Seth Rollins? Strong promo too.
Rollins and McIntyre? Great backstage segment.
I enjoyed Gable and American Made jawing at the former Alpha Academy. Let’s use this to elevate Otis, please? And could this be a chance for Chase U to show up at some point? I mean, I wouldn’t hate that.
Loved the main event and seeing Erik and Ivar with gold once again.
After The Final Bell:
Solid final live RAW until after Christmas. Instead of hyping a premium live event, we are now hyping the Netflix RAW debut. Considering the December 23 episode was taped today, we have just one live show left on USA for RAW, unless they do a taped special on December 30.
