It’s time for our RAW Results for October 21, 2024, and we’ve got all sorts of phighting in Philly-if you know, you know.

Quick Results:
- New Day defeat Authors of Pain, moving on to the triple threat finale to determine the next #1 contenders. The finish was perhaps aided by R-Truth, who came out to attack Miz who was at ringside observing Kross and the Final Testament. More on this in a bit.
- Damage CTRL defeats Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan by way of DQ. NXT Superstars Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson intervened in the fun and things went off the rails.
- Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee defeat the Creed Brothers to move on to the triple threat finale next week.
- Bron Breakker defeated Jey Uso to once again become Intercontinental Champion. Massive assist from the Bloodline.
Best Match:
I enjoyed the opening match as much as the main event, but I’d say toss a coin on either. Both matches ended thanks in some part to outside interference, so they were good, but not great.
Worst Match:
I wasn’t a huge fan of the women’s tag match. Like, happy to get them involved, but it was just a chaos-filled segment. I felt like it was too busy for what we got.
Holy S@#$ Moments:
The Wyatt Sick6 had told us for a couple weeks that they were coming for The Miz, and by extension the Final Testament for what happened with R-Truth. We saw they were serious on RAW. Truth came for his revenge on Miz, but Truth was laid out by the heels-until the Wyatts emerged. The only one unharmed from the initial salvo? The Miz. But he had Uncle Howdy waiting, but Paul Ellering saved him and took the mandible claw instead.
Seth Rollins and Big Bronson Reed could not keep their hands off of one another, from the opening shot until Adam Pearce finally gave them a match at Crown Jewel.
I know they won’t do it in WarGames (IE, not in the cage), but this one screams for a traditional Survivor Series elimination match.
And, we could see it coming a mile away, but the new Bloodline came to Philly and made their presence felt on RAW. Thanks to Jacob Fatu and the rest of the Bloodline, Jey Uso is now a former Intercontinental Champion.
Noteworthy Moments:
Earlier in the day, Samantha Irvin told the world her time with WWE was over. Bummer. But WWE had a backup plan, and has brought back Lillian Garcia. Reportedly, full time for the foreseeable future. She had a hiccup, but depending on how much notice she had, I will give her a pass.
And yes, Bron Breakker is your new Intercontinental Champion.
Also, two things possibly lost in the shuffle.
One, Bron Breakker and Jacob Fatu had an epic staredown. There will be more to that at some point.
Two, Carlito got Dom a shot at Gunther, if he can beat a former world champion next week on RAW. Will it be Priest? And whomever it is, will that be the move that gets Carlito evicted from the clubhouse?
Lowlights:
I get why they did it, and I expected Solo and company to do it. It’s a means to lure Jey into the civil war. But I hate that Jey had to lose the title to do it.
Also, I get being only two hours now, and having some busy segments. But we only had four matches?!

Highlights:
Honestly loved the Wyatt Sick6 involvement. I would like to see them more regularly, and I think they have a proper next feud for them.
I am sure there is some work to be done, but the path for Jey to line up with Jimmy and Roman got a lot clearer now. I hated the title loss, but it was a means to an end. I dare say that perhaps Jey returns the favor and costs the Bloodline their tag titles?
After The Final Bell:
I was hoping for an ECW revival of Paul Heyman. Instead we did get some mentions of him, and a reveal of an NXT-ECW Arena show (cool). But Friday? New York? Heyman’s literal home town (kind of sort of)? He’s got to be back soon, right?
