It seems to be a trend within the company, as now WWE Superstar Sheamus signs a new deal to hang around.

The company has not been shy about signing talent to new deals, or bringing in attractive free agents. We know they can’t sign them all. Sometimes WWE decides to move on, other times the talent want a fresh start. I do recall a time when some rumors hinted that perhaps the founder of the Brawling Brutes might indeed leave the company. However, according to PWInsider, that will not be happening any time soon. Per the report, Sheamus signs a new WWE deal to keep chasing his missing gold.
No, not an Irish joke. We all should recall that he is still in need of that oh-so-elusive Intercontinental Championship. And now that he has a new deal, he has at least a few more years wrestling in front of the WWE Universe to finally fulfill that goal. Whether he gets to finish that story or not remains to be seen, but I have to think that was a motivating factor.
More Bangers!
He’s known for having banger after banger. He, Drew McIntyre and GUNTHER delivered one of the best matches in recent WrestleMania history. I know I would not be upset at all if we got them to run it back. Heck, could you imagine that trio, while Gunther holds the world championship, delivering a sequel for the ages? I doubt there would be too many complaints.

Sheamus is the latest veteran to re-sign. While the company has lost names such as Ricochet, it has also retained talent such as Drew McIntyre and extended Cody Rhodes and done some magic with CM Punk. And, while they are keeping key veteran Superstars, we are also seeing new, young and exciting talent break through, such as Carmelo Hayes and Bron Breakker-to name a few.
