We can assume that Drew McIntyre would been in similar shape following the brutal match. After all, we saw pictures of Drew, post match, showing the gash in his head that was closed up with staples. But we did not see McIntyre come out to say he was taking a break. He lost at Bad Blood and just faded into the background for now. But thanks to Fightful, we have a bit of an update on what the Scottish Warrior might have been up to.

According to the report, it’s not certain that an extended break was planned for McIntyre too or not. But considering how violent the match was, the break was, in and of itself, not a shock. But it seems that McIntyre has been using his time away to visit family in the United Kingdom. Apparently, not every reason for the visit was entirely a happy one. Per the report, McIntyre made comments that he had recently suffered some personal losses, which are partly the reason for his time in his native land.
