WWE Legend Nikki Bella Gets Huge Child Support Bill In Divorce Settlement with Artem Chigvintsev

The divorce between Nikki Bella and “Dancing with the Stars” veteran Artem Chigvintsev has been finalized, officially ending their year-long separation and public drama.

According to reports from TMZ, Bella has agreed to pay $3,500 a month in child support for her son Matteo. She is also responsible for two separate $100,000 lump-sum payments. One of which was made immediately, while another is set to be made by the end of 2025. Bella will cover all of Matteo’s speech therapy, and both parents will split extracurricular activity costs.

The couple got married in Paris in August 2022 and had a rough road leading up to their separation. In August 2024, Chigvintsev was arrested for domestic violence after an altercation with the WWE legend. Prosecutors declined to press charges due to a lack of evidence, and both filed restraining orders against each other. Those were later dismissed.

Nikki Bella initially sought sole legal and physical custody of Matteo, citing Chigvintsev’s behavior. But the final agreement is joint custody with both parents alternating major holidays. The court also ordered Bella, real name Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, and Chigvintsev to attend individual therapy and parenting classes to co-parent effectively.

Also, Bella gets to keep her business ventures, including Stephanie Nicole Garcia Entertainment and her wine label, Bonita Bonita.

After the divorce, Nikki Bella has said she’s focusing on herself and Matteo. She’s said she’s protecting her son’s privacy and has moved on, including returning to the WWE ring at the 2025 Royal Rumble, which was her first time back since retirement.
