Jey Uso offered an update this week on when his brother Jimmy Uso could be back on WWE TV, and it may be very soon.
It has been a long time since the Usos didn’t have a featured role in one of WWE’s major events. The legendary tag team has taken on a prominent role in the company over the last few years and have been a key part of the ongoing Bloodline saga.

However, heading into Saturday’s SummerSlam card, both will not have matches at the event. Jey Uso has seen his recent push slowed down recently, but many believe it might pick up once Roman Reigns returns. The same could be said for his brother Jimmy Uso, who was written off TV a couple of months ago to deal with an injury.
But it seems like Jimmy could be back in a WWE ring very soon. “My brother will be back soon,” he said on the “The Ringer Wrestling Show,” this week. “I want to see him on TV. Like, if you really pay attention to Jimmy, Jimmy funny as hell. He started shining on SmackDown for a little bit, then he got hurt. I’m excited to see his character back on TV.”
Could Jimmy Uso return at SummerSlam?
There have been a lot of rumors about possible surprise appearances at SummerSlam this year. It was reported on Friday that the Hardy Boyz met with WWE officials and many have speculated Roman Reigns could make his long-awaited return.
On Friday’s Smackdown, the Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa title match was switched to “Bloodline Rules.” Which opens the door to all sorts of shenanigans to occur in the night’s main event. After Jimmy Uso was jumped out of the faction by Sikoa it would make a lot of sense for him to return at SummerSlam. So he can cost his younger brother a chance at being Undisputed WWE Champion.
There is sure to be a lot of speculation about it before the event begins at 7 PM ET.
