Jacob Fatu had a dominant and impressive showing as part of the WarGames match between the OG and New Bloodline at the WWE Survivor Series. However, much like many dangerous spots witnessed in the match, Fatu was involved in one, which led to speculations regarding his injury status.
The Samoan Werewolf joined the ranks of Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline a few months ago. He has since proved to be an asset to the faction with his exceptional in-ring acumen and dominant style, which has made him a feared competitor across the entire WWE landscape.
Fatu has been christened as the Enforcer of Solo Sikoa, who has used his aggressive in-ring style to the advantage of his Bloodline. Moreover, this side was very evident during the WarGames match against the OG Bloodline, comprising Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn, and their unlikely fifth member, CM Punk.
Jacob Fatu entered the match third for his team and decimated his opposition for the majority of the match. However, following a spot inside the doubled caged match, there were rumors about Fatu potentially getting injured, with a new report clarifying his health status.
Which spot led to speculation regarding Jacob Fatu’s injury at the WWE Survivor Series 2024 event?
According to a recent report by Corey Brennan of Fightful, although Jacob Fatu landed awkwardly while executing a moonsault on CM Punk, he did not actually get injured. Moreover, Fatu purposely decided to make it look like he sustained an injury to his leg and improvised this unplanned move on the spot.
While the fans worried after seeing the Samoan Werewolf favoring his leg for the entire match, Jacob made them believe so by adding more intrigue to the high-stakes showdown while also displaying his tough personality as a WWE competitor.
Solo Sikoa’s personal Enforcer continued the match with his squad after that spot. However, he was taken out of the equation by Jimmy and Jey Uso, following which Jimmy delivered the Uso Splash onto Fatu, who was lying on a table from atop the WarGames cage.
Furthermore, it was during the final moments of the bout that Solo Sikoa found himself cornered by all five members of the OG Bloodline team. All of them executed their signature moves on Sikoa, with Roman Reigns finishing him off with a thunderous spear to win the match for his team and stand tall with them to close out WWE Survivor Series 2024.
As for Jacob Fatu, with his injury concerns laid to rest, he is expected to stand by Solo Sikoa’s side moving forward as their war with the OG Bloodline seems to be far from over.
