She has been gone nearly a year, but is Charlotte Flair finally nearing a return to WWE?
A lot has happened for the WWE women’s division in 2024, but none of it has involved Charlotte Flair. The Queen, the most decorated female Superstar in WWE history, has missed the entire year thus far due to a serious knee injury.

Given the nature of her knee injury, which she suffered in December of 2023, the recovery time tends to be between nine and twelve months. For those of you reading and doing the math, she’s coming to the tail end of that window.
Granted, there’s always a chance for setbacks that change a timeline. And with the world of WWE, there are always storyline reasons for a return to take a bit longer than expectations. Given that we’ve not seen her in a year and the Royal Rumble is fast approaching some fans figured we may just have a Flair surprise entry in Indianapolis. Another sooner option is, of course, the RAW on Netflix debut.
Could Charlotte Be Back Soon
But what if she was super ready to return, and a return for Charlotte Flair could be imminent? She has now posted social media proof that she’s leaning on current and former WWE Superstars to prep for her comeback.
Charlotte looks good and exhausted following a training session. And those two talents right next to her? That would be current NXT Superstar Shawn Spears and former Superstar Tyler Breeze. The pair co-own Flatbacks, where Charlotte has been spending time preparing for her return.
Last time I wondered on a Monday if someone could return at a future major event, they showed up that night on RAW (thanks Drew). I could see Charlotte showing up at any time now, though there are a few good candidates between now and the 2025 Royal Rumble.
