For the final SmackDown before Bad Blood, WWE delivered a compelling show from start to finish. It began with AJ Styles returning after several months away. He dropped the heel persona and instantly started a program with Carmelo Hayes. Unfortunately, Styles seemed to be injured during the bout. Therefore, everyone wants to know if the injury was an angle.

Fightful Select noted how Styles is fine and spot was planned. Although, it is not clear if he will be removed form TV. Seeing how he just returned, he should be back soon. Maybe, WWE drags the bad leg for a few weeks. Considering what happened on SmackDown, Styles could be working opposite LA Knight and Hayes upon return.

Now, we shift to the main event. The Bloodline (Tama Tonga Tonga Loa) left the arena still tag team champions. They successfully toppled DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) in a ladder match. As expected, the bout saw plenty of major spots with weapons used. Somehow, everybody walked-away without major injury. Still, those involved are probably in pain as the match was an adrenaline dump.

Since moving SmackDown to the USA Network, WWE has really stepped up their game. The show had several other matches, including a Dumpster Match for the women. It saw Michin get the better of Chelsea Green. Both looked phenomenal during the match and Green really sold the final dumpster spot. WWE did everything right heading into today’s Bad Blood. So, what are your thoughts on the injury updates for AJ Styles and all those involved in the SmackDown main event?
