WWE Hall of Famer Choosing to Support Vince McMahon Despite Horrifying Allegations

Vince McMahon has been caught up in various legal battles. While many have turned away from the former WWE Chairman, a popular legend has decided to stick by his side.

The Genetic Jackhammer ruled the roost of WWE for a long time. He was also part of WWE’s parent company, TKO Group Holdings, as the Executive Chair. However, Vince McMahon resigned after Janel Grant’s accusations of sex trafficking and sexual misconduct became public.

WWE has cut all ties with the man who founded the company, and so have many of McMahon’s peers. However, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long is not among those people as he revealed on the “Wrestling Time Machine” podcast.

“I’m gonna stand by him. If it hadn’t been for Vince McMahon, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

Vince McMahon is currently under federal investigation regarding the Janel Grant matter. Moreover, former WWE EVP John Laurinaitis has also been accused of the same charges. The case is being litigated in Connecticut at the moment.

McMahon is reportedly planning his next move in the business world. Multiple rumors stated that he is planning a new production company once his legal battles are over. However, McMahon is also facing legal troubles from WWE shareholders recently.

They have been demanding documents related to WWE’s merger with UFC, which led to the formation of TKO Group Holdings. McMahon has been accused of forcing his way back into the WWE board to sell the company to UFC’s parent company, Endeavour. There had been other high bidders, but McMahon chose Endeavour to have a certain control.
