Bray Wyatt was one of the most gifted WWE superstars and had a highly incredible creative acumen. He had envisioned an exciting and larger-than-life idea similar to that in DC Comics for his second run. However, the fans never got to witness the same.
The Eater of Worlds came back to WWE in 2022. After being involved in WWE TV for a few months, Bray Wyatt disappeared from television programming due to health reasons. Despite reports of his health improving emerging, the world was left in shock in August 2023. It was when Triple H announced that Bray Wyatt had shockingly passed away due to heart issues.
While his presence has left a huge void, the fans have been able to get some insights into Bray’s plans. A top superstar from the current WWE roster shed light on Wyatt’s idea for a never-before-seen faction.
What were Bray Wyatt’s plans for a faction upon his return to WWE?
During an interview on the “Not Sam Wrestling” podcast, RAW star Karrion Kross revealed that Bray Wyatt had a lot of ideas. One of them was to have an even bigger faction than The Wyatt Sicks, with representation on each WWE show. Moreover, he had also asked Kross to scout top prospects from NXT for his stable.
“He had a lot of ideas. One idea was, that he wanted to create a group even bigger than six,” Kross said. “He wanted a representation of the group on each show. He was asking me to vet some of the people at NXT because he didn’t know who they were. Bray knew who he liked and he knew who had cool gimmicks and cool creativity.
“But he said, ‘I don’t know these people and I don’t want to invite people who are going to be problematic or marks for themselves.’ He’s asking me to vet people in NXT to create a group for NXT.”
Furthermore, Karrion Kross stated that Bray Wyatt was heavily inspired by DC Comics Batman villains the Court of Owls. The group was a criminal organization and a secret society. Wyatt wanted to do something related to them for his faction. Moreover, Kross also revealed Bray’s idea to have Wade Barrett as the faction’s inside commentator.
“He was really into DC’s Court of Owls. He wanted to do something in that realm,” he said. “One crazy idea he had, he wanted Wade Barrett to be an inside commentary guy. One day, Wade was going to get up and Bullhammer somebody, pull open the shirt, and he had whatever the (logo) idea was on the shirt.”
Bray Wyatt’s remarkable creative genius was not able to come to fruition as he passed in August 2023. Now, his brother Bo Dallas is carrying forward his legacy with The Wyatt Sicks faction. Despite being gone, his presence and memory will always remain alive in the memories of the fans.
