The late great Bray Wyatt was one of the most remarkable WWE superstars, gone too soon. While his fans and family miss him every day, conversations keep coming up about the former WWE Champion. An interesting one surfaced recently by one of the current stars of the WWE roster.
Bray Wyatt was one of the marquee names for WWE. However, he was unexpectedly released by the company in 2021. But that did not last long as The Eater of Worlds was brought back. Wyatt re-signed with WWE in 2022 and made his shocking resurgence at the end of the WWE Extreme Rules event.
However, just before his return to WWE, Bray Wyatt was closely working on an exciting project with another released star at the time, Karrion Kross. The leader of the Final Testament finally shed light regarding the details.
What project were Bray Wyatt & Karrion Kross working on before returning to WWE?
During his recent appearance on the NotSam Wrestling podcast, Karrion Kross revealed that he and Bray Wyatt were working on a dream project. It was an episodic wrestling show that focused on Wyatt. It planned a huge confrontation with Kross.
He said, “Bray and I were about to do an episodic wrestling show. We both got a pilot and the show was written primarily around him and I, and this giant confrontation between him and I building for the first season.
However, those plans were abandoned after Triple H reached out to both of them to return to WWE.
“Hunter reached out to me, and he said like, ‘Let’s talk next week.’ So I buzz him and I’m like, ‘Dude, I think he’s going to ask us to come back. What do we do? It was feeling pretty serious that the show was going to happen.”
Karrion Kross would eventually make his return to WWE in August 2022. This was two months before Bray Wyatt was revealed behind the QR code mystery at Extreme Rules. Wyatt then embarked on his second run by aligning himself with his brother, Bo Dallas. He was portraying a new gimmick called Uncle Howdy. However, Wyatt disappeared from television just before WrestleMania 39 due to health issues.
Unfortunately, Bray Wyatt passed away in August 2023 due to heart issues. While he may be gone, people like Karrion Kross and his brother Bo Dallas keep his legacy alive in their own way. Dallas is leading the faction, The Wyatt Sicks. This was a vision by Wyatt, but after his passing, it was brought to life by his brother to honour his memory in a heartfelt gesture.
