Jey Uso and Gunther have had an incredible rivalry for quite some time. That rivalry will write another important chapter this Monday as they clash once again for the World Heavyweight Championship. Uso got the upper hand at Wrestlemania to claim the title and has been riding high ever since. But ‘The Ring General’ has spent the past few weeks trying to get into Uso’s head. Which man will walk out with the last laugh and the title around their waist?
Seth Rollins will be keeping a very close eye on that World Title match. ‘The Visionary’ climbed the ladder this past Saturday and claimed the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins has been on a scorching hot run lately and with a guaranteed title match contract now in his possession, he is one step away from his ultimate goal of reclaiming the World Heavyweight Championship. That could happen as soon as this Monday as Rollins and his cohorts, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, could loom very large over the scheduled World Title match.
Becky Lynch has added another piece of hardware to her collection. ‘The Man’ was victorious over Lyra Valkyria this past Saturday and captured the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. As stipulated, Valkyria was then forced to raise Lynch’s hand and acknowledge her as the victor. Lynch, always one to milk the moment, kept egging Valkyria on insisting she put the belt around her waist and raise her hand again. Valkyria had enough and laid her out to rapturous applause. Given the aftermath of the match and the disdain these two still hold for each other, this feud is very likely to continue this Monday night and beyond.
