In 2025, the company will partner with Netflix on a historic $5 billion partnership with WWE content to be available worldwide. Great performances by top WWE superstars this year greatly contributed to that deal and the company’s continued success.
With that in mind, here are the 10 best WWE wrestlers in 2024.
10. Bayley
Bayley had an awesome 2024, winning the Royal Rumble for the first time ever in January. Then she made history by winning the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40 after beating Iyo Sky. The betrayal from her Damage CTRL teammates added drama to his title run. Bayley had some great matches during her title reign this year and cemented himself as one of the best WWE Wrestlers of the modern era.

9. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns was still major in WWE in 2024 even though he looked a little less powerful than usual. The Bloodline story continued and progressed all year. It was especially fueled by his feuds with Solo Sikoa and Jey Uso which were big moments in his story. Appearing in the biggest matches like WrestleMania 40 made him an essential part of the WWE’s great storylines, even if Cody Rhodes ended Roman Reigns’ historic 1,317-day reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Reigns took a short break from WWE after the loss to film a movie, taking him offscreen. He returned at SummerSlam.

8. Seth Rollins
Seth “Freakin” Rollins had a good year and his WrestleMania 40 was the best of it. As World Heavyweight Champion he was in the main event with Roman Reigns, The Rock, and Cody Rhodes. But Rollins had his fair share of problems in 2024. He injured his knee and it affected his matches, especially in his feud with Drew McIntyre. Despite that, the still was one of the best in-ring performers in WWE and delivered high-energy matches and entertained the fans.

7. Nia Jax
In 2024 Nia Jax made a big impact on WWE. She won the Queen of the Ring tournament and then went on to dominate the ring. At the SummerSlam 2024 event, she took the WWE Women’s Championship off Bayley. Despite Bayley’s strong moves such as the Bayley-to-Belly and guillotine choke Nia Jax took her strength and two Niahilator finishers to get the win. This was her second reign as Women’s Champion in six years, and her first reign since her return to the division.
6. Drew McIntyre
2024 was a colossal year for Drew McIntyre. His feud with CM Punk was the “feud of the year” for many fans, and he won the World Heavyweight Championship in front of a huge crowd. The Scottish Warrior was in all the big storylines, won a Money in the Bank contract, and was in a lot of feuds, big matches, and segments.
5. Solo Sikoa
Solo Sikoa was the leader of the Bloodline and had a big year by breaking away from Roman Reigns. He solidified himself at WWE Crown Jewel 2024 by pinning Roman Reigns in a six-man tag of The Original Bloodline vs Sikoa’s new crew. This was a rare win because Reigns was pinned and it was at that moment when the Bloodline’s power shifted. Solo’s win was one of the best matches of the year. He finally stepped out of Roman Reigns’ shadow and proved he’s a top WWE wrestler.
4. Jey Uso
Jey Uso had a great 2024 and he’s one of the best in WWE. He won the Intercontinental Championship by beating Bron Breakker for it after the draft moved him to RAW. That’s his first big singles title. Jey also started the fan-favorite “Yeet” movement. Finding his footing on his own in singles competition was a big career milestone after his tag team success. Jey also reunited with important members of the Bloodline, solidifying the ‘Main Event’ status and Jey’s importance in WWE storylines.
3. Gunther
The Ring General set history as the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion ever, a reign that started June 10, 2022, and went 666 days and broke the records of the Honky Tonk Man and Pedro Morales. He’s defended the title many times with his technical skill and hard-hitting style. His matches with guys like Chad Gable and Sheamus have been called modern classics and have elevated the Intercontinental title and put him among the top WWE wrestlers.

2. Liv Morgan
2024 was huge for Liv Morgan and she was surely one of the top stars in WWE. And of course, her biggest moment was at WWE Crown Jewel 2024 where she beat Nia Jax to become the first-ever Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. Big moment for her career.
She also won the Women’s World title in May and had great storylines with Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio. Her performances and fan-favorite matches made her one of the most talked-about wrestlers of 2024.

1. Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes had a huge 2024 and he topped it all off by beating Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40. He “finished the story” on the years-long build and established himself as THE top guy in WWE. That was a career and WWE 2024-changing moment for Cody.
The match showed his resilience as he rode out the storm and hit two straight Cross Rhodes to win. The American Nightmare has proven himself in the ring and also outside of it, connecting with the fans with his great storytelling. It was a huge shift in the WWE.
