Once considered a top talent in NXT, what does Dijak’s future in WWE look like?

It is a big question for a big Superstar.

At one point in time, we witnessed Dijak have absolute bangers against Keith Lee in NXT.

We knew Lee was rapidly destined for the main roster (which sadly did not last), but considering how he showed out, expectations for Dijak were rising.

And just like that, one of the worst things that could have happened to a Superstar…happened to Dijak.

He got repackaged and placed in the disastrous angle for Retribution.

Sure, it got him onto the main roster…but once the angle fell apart, he became nothing more than a jobber.

A lot has changed over the past couple years, and eventually the once dominant NXT talent found his way back to Orlando.

So, after ups and downs…

What Does Dijak’s Future In WWE Look Like?

To be blunt, it is unclear.

Per a report, the imposing Superstar has a contract with just months left on it.

Specifically, as it stands right now, Dijak’s contract is set to expire in June.

I would say that his return to NXT, along with a decent amount of repackaging, has done him good.

Obviously he ditched his Retribution name (T-Bar) and changed up his look, even from his prior NXT run.

It’s worked, but NXT gold eludes him. Which honestly begs the question, what does his future hold for him.

And more importantly, does he have a future in WWE?

He has the size and look that make him basically a prototypical wrestler. Should WWE set him free over the summer, I have to think that any one of AEW or TNA (or others) would take a long, hard look.

That being said, his work in NXT has also likely been good enough that he has fans in the company.

He did just beat another promising talent in Joe Gacy, who many have expected to be destined for the main roster sooner than not.

That could be a one off, or it could be a sign of a good year (and more) ahead.
