This week’s WWE RAW had its ups and downs. Still, the main event that featured World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins versus Jinder Mahal, was an interesting match. According to a report, the champ suffered an injury during that bout.
Seth Rollins Injured During WWE RAW
PWTorch’s Wade Keller is reporting that Rollins had a limp backstage after the main event. Looks like he may have suffered an injury to his left leg.
As per the report, WWE officials did guide him to the backstage area. Rollins retained his WWE World title and finished the match, despite showing signs of being injured during the bout.
Rollins scored the win despite ringside interference from Indus Sher, who was in Mahal’s corner. Of course, Mr. Money in the Bank, Damian Priest was also ringside, providing another distraction for Seth, as a possible contract cash-in was looming.
In The End, Seth Rollins Was Victorious On WWE RAW
Drew McIntyre ended up attacking Damian Priest, and the two made their way backstage. Meanwhile, Rollins hit the Stomp on Mahal, securing the three-count and the win to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Hulk Hogan Makes A Real Life Save
Since Seth scored the WWE World title in May 2023, he’s been a workhorse champion. He is consistently seen on RAW, as well as in premium live events (PLE).
While he may be injured, the silver lining in all this he does not have a match scheduled for the upcoming Royal Rumble PLE. If he is hurt, skipping Rumble might allow him the time to recover and prepare for WrestleMania 40.
Right now, there is buzz that Rollins will face CM Punk on the Grandest Stage of Them all this year. Still, WWE has a way of switching up plans at the last minute, so one never knows.
