Paige and her WWE contract is up next year, leading to questions if she will stick around. Also, AEW already has an arena in mind as they look to debut in London.
Paige – WWE Contract Expiration Date
In pro wrestling, some only get a few years in the business and others overstay their welcome. For Paige, her career was cut way too early.
At the moment, she is not being used on TV. So, there is some debate on her future in WWE.
Originally, people believed her WWE contract ran into 2023. But, she denied those reports during her Twitch Stream.
“My contract is up in June of next year,” said Paige. “Who knows if they would want to give me a new contract?”
“Who’s to say they would want to? If they did, I’d love to have Twitch as a part of the contract.”
The last part was a knock at WWE, who banned superstars from using third party platforms. Although, they recently seemed to have calmed on that stance.
According to Paige, she has less than a year left on her contract. Of course, there is a chance WWE re-signs her.
Between 2016 and 2018, Paige dealt with neck injuries and several surgeries.
In November 2017, Paige returned to WWE in-ring action. It was short lived as less than a month, she was injured at a live event.
Sadly, this time, doctors stated she would never wrestle again. She confirmed the news the day after WrestleMania 34.
She worked as SmackDown General Manager before the McMahon family removed that position on both brands. Lately, she has not been spotted on TV in a lengthy time.
It is possible she gets cleared to return again. Edge, Daniel Bryan and Christian were given the same bad news before eventually returning to competition.
AEW Looking For London Show
Before the pandemic, AEW had some major plans. Some were scraped, while others were delayed.
One of the bigger moments would have seen Fyter Fest come from England. Because of COVID, that idea was put to the side.
Now, it seems like AEW will give it another shot. While speaking on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Tony Khan gave a major update.
“To give you guys a big scoop on it,” said Khan. “I want to bring AEW to Craven Cottage, very much so.”
“Craven Cottage is very special to me. We put a lot into the development, the redevelopment of the Riverside Stand and the new Craven Cottage with all of the new amenities and facilities. and the beautiful additions I think would be the best home in England possible for AEW.”
I hope if/when @TonyKhan runs Craven Cottage (presumably next summer in the close season) that the show is given a unique name. ‘AEW London Calling’ would be great given that they always play the Clash song ‘London Calling’ at Fulham games (at least ones I’ve been to with EFC).

Khan said he was unable to give exact dates at the moment. AEW is touring again and seem to have no problem putting butts in the seats.
