Paige Is Back!

For those of you who have been waiting in anticipation for the return of a certain female wrestler, there is good news! It would seem like Paige has returned from her neck injury, at least according to a Tweet the former Diva’s Champion posted on her Twitter. Here is the story!

Paige was spotted at the WWE Performance Center by some observant wrestling journalists. Of course, the scoop turned out not to be much of a scoop at all, since Paige released a picture taken of the WWE Performance Center shortly after being spotted.

With releasing the picture of the WWE Performance Center, it certainly seems like Paige is training for her return to the ring. Even though she has been posting workout pictures on her social media for weeks, her being at the WWE Performance Center is a strong indicator of her impending return!

According to Dave Meltzer, WWE is said to have a storyline in place for Paige when she returns to television. The belief is that she has gotten full clearance to return and she’s tentatively scheduled to be part of the Smackdown brand.

Damage Control with Charity

Needless to say, both Paige and Alberto Del Rio has suffered quite a hit to their reputation, at least in the court of public opinion. It would seem like the couple is now launching a charm offensive to restore their reputation; this by supporting a charity such as the Salvation Army.

Paige and Alberto El Patron recently paid a visit to one of the Salvation Army facilities, more specifically the Salvation Army in San Antonio. The charity is often involved in disaster relief, but also donates goods to people in need.

Letter from 82-Year-Old Couple

According to Paige’s posts, her and Alberto El Patron have helped many families over the past couple of months. One letter stuck out to her, so she decided to post it on her twitter. The letter also supports the charm offensive of the couple to get back in good with the court of public opinion.

While I have no doubt that Paige is a good person who is often involved in charity, the recent charity posts have been plenty. Still, it is setting a good example, so even if it is a charm offensive, I don’t really have any problems with it.

Which Roster Will Paige Go To?

With the charm offensive in full swing and a picture of the WWE Performance Center on her Twitter, it certainly seems like the former Diva’s Champion is laying the groundwork for her return. Of course, the question remains, which roster will the former champion go to?

Let’s face it, there is room for Paige on both rosters because she has always brought something unique to the women’s division. Still, we must also consider the impending debut of NXT’s longest reigning women’s champion – Asuka, who is expected on the RAW brand.

With Asuka going to RAW, I believe it more likely that Paige will go to SmackDown. Bayley has also returned to RAW, so adding Paige to Raw as well would make no sense at this point.

Paige is a two-time Divas Champion and became the youngest Superstar to hold the title when she captured it during her Raw debut at the age of 21. If her return his imminent, as this post is leading many in the WWE Universe to believe, consider the women of Raw and SmackDown LIVE officially put on notice.
