‘- Big changes seem to be headed for WWE as their NXT brand is rumored for FS1. The idea is to have NXT counter All Elite Wrestling (AEW), as both shows will air on Wednesdays from 8 PM until 10 PM EST according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
As for the details, we will have to wait and see what WWE has planned. Some big questions will be if the NXT brand still airs on the WWE Network and if the shows will remain at Full Sail University or be taken on the road. The general feeling is NXT will air live as taped programing would not be the best challenge to AEW. Also, do no be surprised if names from the main roster make appearances on NXT as a way to increase viewers by wrestling names that are better known to a general audience.
AEW will debut on TNT starting October 2. There is no official press release right now about NXT airing on FS1, but Fox has started to inform some of their affiliates since the deal was put together in late June or early July.
– Paige was the first ever NXT Women’s Champion before she joined the main roster, where she also captured gold. Then she injured her neck and later learned that her in-ring career was done. Paige had to cancel a planned SummerSlam meet and greet due to a doctor’s appointment and later revealed that she will need one more surgery as her neck resembles that of a 60 year old.
Me and my fave Dr! Dr Juan Uribe. He did an amazing job on my last neck surgery. Also the miracle worker for @BellaTwins Nikki and @TJWilson necks! Unfortunately, the match from Uniondale created a new hernia that we thought would heal. It did not. Sooo.. One more surgery to go. pic.twitter.com/fKfAxRCoK2

Since retiring, Paige was named the SmackDown General Manager before that position was removed from TV. Now, she can be seen as the manger of the Kabuki Warriors’ Asuka & Kairi Sana. She has also made some appearance on WWE’s reality shows like Total Divas, Total Bellas and Miz & Mrs.
