TNA Knockouts champion Jordynne Grace claims that one of the company’s top stars is hoping to join her in the ongoing and unofficial invasion of WWE prospect brand NXT.
Last week, Grace set the wrestling world ablaze with her stunning appearance on NXT and then challenged women’s champion Roxanne Perez to a match for her belt at Battleground this weekend. It was a fun surprise that has led to a great deal of speculation about what sort of relationship the two companies have.
Wrestling fans have been wondering about which TNA start could be the next one to show up in NXT and vice versa. Well, it seems that one major member of the Total Nonstop Action roster was annoyed Grace did not let him know about her appearance on NXT and wants a good word put in with promotion boss Shawn Michaels.
“The only message I got about that was [ from] Moose. He called me and he was like, ‘Why didn’t you tell me? Why didn’t you tell me you were doing this?’,” Grace told Fightful this week. “And I was like, ‘Moose you have the biggest mouth out of anyone I know. That would have gone out five minutes after I told you.’ He was like, ‘You should tell Shawn Michaels that I want to come over,’ I was like ‘I’ll go ahead and do that Moose.'”
Moose is one of the faces of the TNA brand and is currently sitting at the top of the company as the current TNA World Champion. His addition to this ongoing relationship would be a major coup for the NXT brand and a potential match with Trick Williams would be one of the most highly anticipated of the summer.
