‘- WWE is usually known for grabbing talent from other promotions and turning them into stars on the global level. We could be seeing a reversal of roles as New Japan Pro Wrestling has their eyes on three former stars according to Dave Meltzer on a new addition of the Wrestling Observer Radio. New Japan Pro Wrestling want to bring Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows and Shinsuke Nakamura to their promotion.
There is belief that all three inked new deals with WWE in 2016 for a three year span. For Anderson and Gallows, they entered WWE with lots of buzz but have not much unless working with AJ Styles as The Club. As for Nakamura, he never won the WWE Championship from Styles; even though they wrestled many times and were featured on several consecutive pay per views. Still, he holds the United States Championship.
Unless something changes, all three are believed to be staying with WWE. When Nakamura signed with WWE, he completely relocated to the United States. Anderson has a growing family and does not want to move his children back and forth due to his wrestling career. If anyone was to head back to New Japan Pro Wrestling, it would be Gallows. He is well liked backstage by people in WWE, so they would probably offer him a good deal to stay put.
– WWE is continuing to add more names to their Evolution pay per view. With over 50 female superstars from the past and present promised, WWE are taking lots of names from NXT. Some new additions include Shadia Bseiso, Kavita Devi, Xia Li, Taynara Conti and the injured Tegan Nox.
Also, PWInsider states that Ric Flair will be at Evolution which would make him the first male confirmed. He would likely be there to further the storyline between his daughter Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. They will battle in a Last Woman Standing Match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Evolution is October 28 and features titles being defend from RAW, SmackDown, NXT, NXT UK and also sees the finals of the Mae Young Classic.
