Kurt Angle Says Ronda Rousey Is “Fastest Learner” He’s Ever Seen

Ronda Rousey is getting ready for Wrestlemania. Instead of being on Raw every week as previously thought, the former UFC champion is in the ring working out with some of NXT’s best. Rousey has trained with Peyton Royce, Lacey Evans, Dakota Kai, and NXT’s head women’s trainer Sara Amato as she prepares for her Wrestlemania debut alongside Kurt Angle versus Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

She is also training with her tag partner Kurt Angle.

And how does Angle think Rousey is taking to wrestling?

That’s high praise from a guy considered the quickest learner in wrestling history himself.

Will Ronda Rousey Be Ready By Wrestlemania?

It certainly seems that way. Ronda is a driven and hungry champion. The rigors of MMA preparation have to inform how she gears up for her first ever professional wrestling match. I’m not expecting Rousey to be the best right from the start, but she has a big advantage as an accomplished high-level athlete in two sports (MMA and Judo) that lend themselves very well to adapting to pro wrestling.

She’ll be ready for a full-run in WWE. She isn’t “part-timing” it. Rousey is working out every day to prepare. This is not a person known to half-ass anything. Rousey has already promised she will be at next year’s Wrestlemania in New York/New Jersey. I plan on seeing her on a lot more shows following her debut.
