According to a friend of Hulk Hogan, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer lost feeling in his lower back after a recent surgery. More on this story, below.

Hulk Hogan Loses Feeling In Back

Fellow WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently talks about the Hulkster’s ailments on his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show. He notes that Hogan cannot feel anything below the waist since his back surgery.

With that said, Hulk, whose real name is Terry Bollea, is using a cane, which suggests he has some use of his legs. However, the plot thickens, as Hogan recently shared a photo on social media, seemingly standing without help, which may mean he’s recovering.

More On Hulk Hogan Losing Feeling In Back

Angle notes on his podcast that he and Hogan had a 30-minute chat (approximately) during last week’s RAW is XXX special. They talked a little bit about the surgery.

According to Angle, Hulk notes that he had the nerves cut from his lower body. Still, he says that Hogan doesn’t have any back pain associated with the surgery, it’s just that he can’t “feel anything”.

It’s also unclear if the damage he’s experiencing is permanent. At the age of 69, The Hulkster is undeniably one of the most well-known WWE wrestlers to date.

He was a pop culture icon during his time with the then-WWF in the early 1980s. In many ways, Hulk Hogan helped bring a mainstream spotlight on WWE and professional wrestling as a whole.

During his time with the company, Hogan was a six-time WWE Champion and a WWE Tag Title Champ (with Edge). He also won back-to-back Royal Rumble matches in 1990 and 1991.

Hogan was also inducted into the Hall of Fame on his own in 2005 and with the nWo in 2020. He’s had an incredible career with the WWE.

But, will he play a role at WrestleMania 39? Only time will tell.

Speaking of WWE Hall of Famers and WM 39, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin is also in the news today. As per a report, he has rejected an offer from the WWE.

Steve Austin Nixes WWE Offer

While Austin had an epic main event match with Kevin Owens on night one of last year’s ‘Mania, fans shouldn’t expect a repeat for WM 39. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Steve has rejected an offer to compete.

Despite his social media posts that profile Austin getting into shape, Meltzer notes that Austin turned down “wrestling” on the Grandest Stage of Them All. With that said, he’ll likely be at WrestleMania 39 and “do something” on the show.

What Kind Of Matches Were Presented To Him?

Dave also states that SCSA was pitched multiple matches for this year’s WrestleMania. He was offered Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

Meltzer notes that Steve could’ve likely just named his opponent if he wanted to face off against someone else. Austin simply chose not to wrestle at the event.

Seems like the WWE was pretty eager to have Austin compete at the show. It’ll be interesting to see if he has a segment, and what that will look like this year.
