Since Ronda Rousey appeared alongside the Rock at WrestleMania 31, rumors have been circulating about Ronda Rousey joining the WWE ranks. These rumors are revived again, because many believe that Ronda might be joining the WWE in the next year.
Crushing Defeat to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes
Ronda Rousey is one of the most iconic women to step foot in the octagon. However, her invincible reputation has gotten a serious blow after some crushing defeats to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes. Rousey has not been seen in the octagon since.
Since her loss at UFC 207, Rousey has not spoken to the media. While this may not necessarily mean that Ronda is done with the UFC, the UFC President Dana White has released an official statement saying that we have seen the last of Ronda Rousey in the cage.
Rousey’s Twitter Activity
Another reason why many people believe Rousey might be heading to the WWE is her recent activity on Twitter. Even though she has not posted anything in the last month, one of her last tweets related to the NXT vignettes of Roderick Strong.
Ronda Rousey has several million followers, but she only follows less than a thousand people. Remarkably, some of the accounts Rousey is now following are @WWE, @WWEUniverse, @BellaTWins, @NoamiWWE, @TheAJMendez and @NatByNature.
Natalya also spoke out abour Rousey and praised the mixed martial arts fighter for her recent interview in Sports Illustrated. She also said she would love to face Ronda Rousey in a squared circle.
WWE Management Is On Board
Rousey will not have to negotiate with the WWE management for a position on the WWE roster, because management is quite excited at the prospect of Rousey joining WWE ranks. One member of management that has been quite outspoken about Rousey and the possibility she could be joining the company in the future is Stephanie McMahon.
After the “fight” between McMahon and Rousey at WrestleMania 31, Stephanie McMahon stated that a possible match with Ronda Rousey would be a “match made in heaven” for her. So, it is likely that we will see this dream match in the future. It is only a matter of when.

Where Will Rousey Go?
If Ronda Rousey is set to join the WWE women’s division, there is only one major problem. Spots on the current women’s roster are limited, since there are many women that are cleared to wrestle, but are not being used; this includes Summer Rae. So, if Rousey comes to the WWE, which roster will she join?
Technically, Rousey could join either roster. Having Rousey on SmackDown or RAW could have benefits, but it could be at the expense of another female wrestler.
