One of Hollywood’s most notable talents, Ben Affleck, is very open to the idea of playing Ric Flair in an upcoming biopic.

To many longtime wrestling fans. Ric Flair is the greatest professional wrestler who ever lived. However, part of his legend is the wild life he had outside the ring. This includes five marriages and battling back from a plane crash early in his career.

That is why it is no surprise that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Seven Bucks production company is developing a feature film on “The Nature Boy’s” life. Oddly enough, the idea of playing Ric Flair came up during Hollywood superstar Ben Affleck’s appearance on “This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von.” And the man who once played comic superheroes Batman and Daredevil had an interesting answer.

“I wish I was Ric Flair, that would be spectacular. I’d love to play [him],” he said.

Affleck was on the show to promote his new film “The Accountant 2.” After a bit of a dip in his career, the 52-year-old is at another high point in his career. However, the famous actor who won an Oscar in 1997 for his writing has become a premier director in the industry.

While he physically does not seem like a logical fit for Flair, if he were also willing to direct film, he would be a fantastic addition to the project for Seven Bucks. The movie based on the WWE Hall of Famer’s life is still being developed and does not have a filming or release date.
