‘- Batista recently celebrated his 50th birthday and WWE sent out a tweet to the former World Heavyweight Champion. That led to Batista possibly teasing another run with WWE as seen below.

There was speculation that WWE was building towards Triple H vs. Batista for WrestleMania 35. The beginning of the potential feud started at SmackDown 1,000 as Evolution reunited. Batista praised Triple H, but noted how “The Game” never beat “The Animal.” With Triple H out 5 to 9 months after a pectoral tear at Crown Jewel in October, that match might have to be scrapped.

If Batista does return, it would be his third time. The first run was a major success, but the second one only lasted a few months. Batista would quit WWE after not agreeing with the direction of creative. Since then, Batista has started to make a name for himself in Hollywood and his schedule is starting to fill. At Batista’s age and rising career in films, time could be running out for a final WWE match.

– Tye Dillinger is getting close to making his return to SmackDown according to PWInsider. Back in October, Dillinger required surgery after injuring his hand. He is expected back inside the ring within the next few weeks.

While out of action, Dillinger has managed to stay relevant thanks to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The WWE superstar has made several tweets referencing AEW. There is no denying that Dillinger never found his place on the main roster like in NXT, and there has been talk of him possibly looking at the next step of his wrestling career. A major obstacle is WWE not granting releases at the moment as seen with The Revival and Mike and Maria Kanellis. WWE apparently trying to secure as many names as possible for lengthier deals due to the successful buzz surrounding AEW.
