For Beth Phoenix, she only wanted two things in two. First, to be a pro wrestler and then a mom. She has successfully crossed both of those items off. She was with WWE for a long time, but her contract expired and they did not offer a new deal. Many are under the impression Beth Phoenix will join her husband, Adam Copeland, in AEW as rumors fly.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Phoenix spoke about the itch to wrestle. “It’s really hard to say you’re retired,” said Phoenix. “When I left in 2012, that was the word I threw around a lot, ‘I’m retired, I’m retired’, because I wanted to have a family and I knew for myself that wasn’t going to be in congruence to perform and to have kids. I needed to devote myself to the kids at that time. I give the age-old cliche answer that everybody hates, ‘Never say never’, but it really just depends on the opportunities and what suits our family. That’s really it. We weigh out everything, Adam’s opportunities too.”
Beth Phoenix Going To AEW Would Not Be Surprising
Copeland (Edge to WWE fans) joined the company about a year ago. He worked with a bunch of new names, but also heavily feuded with his friend, Christian Cage. At the moment, Copeland is off TV after destroying his leg by jumping off a steel cage. He might be back before the year ends, but the healing process is slow.
Now, Phoenix and Copeland have teamed numerous times before in WWE. There is a chance Tony Khan gives the okay to sign her and they work together again. Both know they do not have long left in the business, meaning it is now or never. So, do you believe the AEW rumors that Beth Phoenix could be joining?
