During pay per views, wrestlers sometimes give a little more effort than on television. Therefore, we see an increase in injuries after such an event. So far, it seems like AEW might have gotten lucky as no major injuries were reported, despite several matches being hardcore and leaving fans concerned. Following All Out, at least two wrestlers will be taking time-off in MJF and Swerve Strickland

On the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shedded more light. First, MJF is apparently going to film a movie. There were not a ton of details like what kind of movie and how long he might be away. The same can applied to Strickland, who is expected to be off TV for a bit. It was unclear if “Hangman” Adam Page would be going on hiatus as well, after their dangerous match.

MJF And Swerve Strickland Seemingly Written-Off TV At AEW All Out

At Saturday’s All Out, MJF defeated Daniel Garcia in the opening match of the main card. After the bout, Garcia got revenge by landing a pile-driver from the top rope. That spot easily removes MJF from any angles. Hopefully, he gets screen time as his performance in The Iron Claw was cut.

Strickland was last seen taking an unprotected chair shot to the head. He dropped the AEW World Championship at All In last month and his unlucky streak continues. The timing of his time away is intersting. Strickland just re-signed with AEW, but we do not know if his absence had anything to do with the new deal. So, any thoughts on the AEW wrestlers who look to be on a break following All Out?
