Has Former WWE Star Elias Signed With AEW? Surprising Evidence Has Emerged

Is the man once known to WWE fans as Elias on his way to AEW? A new video that hit social media Monday has many wrestling fans believing he is.

Elias was one of the more unique WWE characters of the last decade. There have been several wrestlers who carried a guitar to the ring for their matches. Former TNA and WCW world champion Jeff Jarrett is a perfect example. However, unlike Jarrett, Elias could actually play the instrument. Furth

Furthermore, the songs that Elias would sing during his weekly concerts as he disparaged his enemies were often a highlight of the episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown that he was on. However, despite being popular among WWE fans, he could never get serious momentum towards rising up the card. Then after a nine-year stint in the company, he was released in September 2023.

Since leaving WWE the man now known as Elijah has competed in the indies. However, a new video this week may point to his return to a major company very soon.

Elias could be headed to AEW as a member of a new faction

On Monday morning, Elijah — AKA Elias — posted a video with him and AEW/ROH tag team The Righteous. In the video, Elias has shed his trademark denim jeans and black top for white versions. Similar to Vincent and Dutch.

“And so he became the Righteous One. A new journey begins,” the narrator of the video proclaimed. “A search, a calling, a destiny. He would encounter a gang of righteous men, and they were of one mind and of one spirit. And they walked amongst the dead spreading their message of truth in a world full of wicked lies. And to those who responded to the call, the chance to be made righteous.”

While Elijah/Elias has not officially been announced as a member of the AEW or ROH roster, it would be surprising if he does not pop up on an upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite or Colission.
