Saraya was a pioneer of the Women’s Revolution in WWE. However, the woman formerly known as Paige joined AEW in 2022. Since then, the former Anti-Diva has been a top fixture for the company. But, the end might be near for her run in Tony Khan’s company and she is open to a return to the No. 1 brand in the industry.
Paige was a top name in the WWE Women’s division and even reigned as a multi-time Divas Champion. However, she had to retire in 2018 due to neck-related issues. Following four years of being in the company in a non-wrestling capacity, she left the company, joined AEW, and started using her legal name Saraya.

During her tenure, she has been a part of high-profile matches and storylines. Saraya also won the AEW Women’s World Championship in her home country at the All In 2023 event. But here contract is reportedly set to expire later this year and was asked about the possibility of a return to her former employer.
What did Saraya have to say about her possible return to WWE?

In a recent interview with TMZ.com, Saraya revealed that she is set to become a free agent later when her AEW contract comes to an end around September. So when it comes to the idea of going back to WWE she is very open to the possibility.
“I love WWE. I appreciate everybody there. They made me, they gave me my career and I’m just appreciative of that. One day, who knows, [but] I love my time in AEW,” she said.
Saraya was last seen on AEW television a few months back. She asked for time off recently, which Tony Khan granted her. Also, amidst her time away from the ring, her six-year-long relationship with musician Ronnie Radke reportedly came to an end.
As she lets the door open for a potential WWE return, it will be interesting to see her comeback, possibly under her old name, Paige, in the future.
