We all know MJF is great at getting heat, but did he just go too far over his latest comment about fellow AEW wrestler, Adam Cole.

AEW took a major risk turning MJF face. He was a face briefly in the early days of the promotion before quickly becoming a heel. Since then, he has delivered some of the most evil moments in pro wrestling history. Being called “The Devil” fits him well. During his face run, AEW had MJF and Adam Cole team together while also feuding.
The result saw them capture tag team gold in ROH, while still wrestling each other. Eventually, one of the wrestlers was going to turn against their friend. We all thought it would be MJF, but eventually signs pointed to Cole. It really did not matter as Cole trashed his ankle about 10 months ago. Therefore, his heel turn felt like nothing as he could not wrestle and has barely appeared on TV.
MJF And Adam Cole Suffered Several Setbacks With No Match Produced
During an interview with Cultaholic, MJF spoke about working with Cole. What he said was rather heinous, but it was probably in character. “I had a friend at the time, who I wish died of d— cancer and he convinced me to let the people in,” said MJF. “I did, and I learned my lesson and it’s never going to happen again.”
Truly, some dastardly comments from Maxwell Jacob Friedman. I feel like his failed program with Cole will be a terrible AEW highlight. They invested in the move and nothing materialized. Now, MJF is a major heel again and Cole is yet to be cleared. So, do you think MJF went too far about Adam Cole; even if he was only in character?
