WWE RAW on Netflix’s second episode saw the debut of former AEW star Penta in spectacular fashion. However, his debut has reportedly not gone unnoticed by his former co-workers. According to a report by LuchaLibreOnline, multiple AEW stars are more seriously considering exploring a move to WWE in 2025. With two unnamed stars in particular.

AEW stars now see it as a different opportunity, and the fear of being lost in the shuffle is gone from their minds. This is because Paul “Triple H” Levesque has taken over following Vince McMahon’s exit from the company in 2024. With that in mind, here are eight AEW stars who may now be imagining a jump to the competition in 2025.
8. Toni Storm

Toni Storm became a popular star due to her tenure in NXT UK. However, her failed stint on the main roster led to her exit from WWE in 2021 and subsequent debut in AEW in 2022. She reinvented her career with her ‘Timeless Toni Storm’, which made her a top name in the professional wrestling scene.
However, she has reverted to her old gimmick, leaving her successful persona behind. This could be a sign of returning to WWE under a new regime where she can flourish better than last time.
7. Will Ospreay

Will Ospreay is one of the most talented and world-class wrestlers in the world. Although he chose AEW over WWE last year, Ospreay’s run has not been quite what was expected. He has had top-tier matches in AEW but has not seen main-event success yet in the company. Ospreay could possibly be one of those reported stars considering a move to WWE to thrive in the big leagues.
6. Rey Fenix

Penta made his WWE debut alone, leaving behind his real-life brother and tag partner, Rey Fenix, in AEW. On the other hand, Fenix has openly expressed his disappointment in being in AEW and is currently on the injured list with injury time added to his contract. He is a top possibility considering joining his brother in WWE down the line in 2025, citing his frustrations with the company.

5. Orange Cassidy

“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy has been a cornerstone for AEW for years. However, despite his accolades and popularity, Cassidy has rarely been part of few high-profile storylines. He could be one of the AEW stars considering a move to WWE to elevate his career to greater heights with the special talent and skills he possesses.
4. Hangman Adam Page

The journey of Hangman Adam Page during the early years in AEW was remarkable. He battled the likes of Kenny Omega and CM Punk and even had a good reign as AEW World Champion. But for some years now, Page has been struggling on the mid-card with lackluster storylines. This could be a potential reason for Adam Page to give his career a new direction and join WWE to achieve the same success he once had in AEW.
3. Britt Baker

Britt Baker was the first female talent signed by AEW in 2019 and remained a top fixture for the company for years. But she has been pushed to the sidelines due to major health issues and reported backstage issues with talents like MJF and serving suspensions.
Moreover, she has also broken up with fellow AEW star Adam Cole. Baker could be dealing with a lot of issues as part of AEW and could consider heading to WWE in the near future.

2. Daniel Garcia

Daniel Garcia has been perceived by many as a talented in-ring worker of AEW but with no major success. Although he became the TNT Champion, Garcia is still a long way from becoming a household name in the wrestling world. That feat of success can come Garcia’s way under Triple H’s regime if he is made an offer to join the global juggernaut.
1. Ricky Starks

Ricky Starks has emerged as one of the most captivating and talented AEW stars on the roster. However, Starks has been kept off AEW television for the better part of 2024, with no reports hinting at clarity on his return. In the meanwhile, he has been spotted backstage at WWE shows visiting his good friend and current face of the company, Cody Rhodes.
“The American Nightmare” himself has stated that Starks would fit well in the company, and with him missing out on 2024 in AEW that could be a Tony Khan decision, Starks is a top possibility for being one of the names reportedly considering jumping ship to WWE in 2025.
