ONE Championship held another Fight Night event with Jonathan Haggerty and Fabricio Andrade squaring off in the main event. The action aired live on Amazon Prime from Bangkok, Thailand.
ONE Results: Kickboxing Title Goes To Jonathan Haggerty
Jonathan Haggerty added the kickboxing title to his Muay Thai crown at ONE Fight Night 16 live on Amazon Prime.
Haggerty bested Fabricio Andrade with a second round knockout of the reigning bantamweight MMA champion.
Early in the bout, Haggerty set a blistering pace with fast and powerful combinations, keeping Andrade on the defensive. As the match progressed, “The General” intensified his offense and connected with his signature weapons.
Haggerty threw a powerful straight right hand down the middle that sent Andrade crashing to the canvas. Although the Brazilian attempted to beat the eight-count, he could barely get back to his feet, forcing referee Olivier Coste to call a halt to the contest.
In the co-main event, Tye Ruotolo downed Magomed Abdulkadirov for the Submission Grappling title.
Other winners included Seksan, Halil Amir and Sinsamut.
