Following a successful debut event in the United States, ONE Championship is looking to do even more in the country in 2024. The promotion announced plans for four events to take place in the U.S. next year.
“I am thrilled to announce that ONE Championship is coming back to the U.S. with four massive events in 2024,” chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong said. “When we made our historic U.S. debut with ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, I was blown away by the support we received from our fans in the U.S.
“ONE is home to the greatest martial artists in the world, and I’m excited to once again showcase our World Champions on American soil. To our fans that haven’t seen a live event, I promise you an experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen.”
They made their U.S. debut this past May from the 1stBank Center in Colorado, with the event airing live on Prime Video. Those upcoming events would also stream live on Prime Video.
That event held earlier this year featured former UFC champion Demetrious Johnson making a successful title defense of his belt. Also, Sage Northcutt returned to action while Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Stamp Fairtex were among the other athletes in action.
