Despite having no relevancy in the current heavyweight division, the matchup pitting boxing legend Mike Tyson against YouTuber turned fighter Jake Paul is one of the most anticipated of the summer. However, last week the booking was put in doubt when the fight was officially postponed following a health scare for “Iron Mike.”
While MVP Promotions, the promoter of the event, suggested Tyson would be fine and could restart his training soon, there are many around the combat sports world unsure if the matchup will actually happen. And several fighters from around the industry have already thrown their hat into the ring as a potential replacement for the 57-year-old boxer.

Paul and KSI have suggested they could face off later this year, but moving the fight up to this summer is very logical. Paul’s lone career loss came in a hard-fought loss to Tommy Fury last year, and Logan Paul suggested actually fighting his brother this week if Tyson is removed from the card.
In an interview on Tuesday, boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. also revealed he plans to get in shape just in case he is the fighter picked to take Tyson’s spot against the 27-year-old.
