Nikki and Brie Bella are WWE Hall of Fame members. It’s easy to say that they embodied the Diva era of WWE wrestling, wether or not you liked that. And they were around after the women’s revolution too, but in reduced capacities for a number of reasons. However, in recent years, the twin sisters have had a bit of a rift with the company and are now no longer a part of WWE in any way, shape or form.
Of course, Brie’s husband is one of Tony Khan’s most trusted people in AEW. Surely if either sister wanted back in the ring, they know how to get it done. And if Nikki wanted, would she come out and fight Britt Baker, of all the AEW talents out there?
Well, the sisters host a show, and recently had the just-returned Britt Baker on as a guest. And during the visit, which got covered by Yahoo and other outlets, an interesting line of conversation came up.
Would Nikki Garcia Come Out Of Retirement?

Baker asked Nikki. Nikki confirmed that she did want a comeback, maybe even if it was only a match or two. And then she said she would come out of retirement for Baker. That didn’t make the doctor flinch at all. Rather, Baker seemed pleased with the opportunity.
When discussing it, Nikki noted that while she did retire due to health issues, she could probably still go, and she wanted to. She did make a cameo in the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble just a couple years ago, after all. And while other AEW stars may have mentioned their names, it’s Britt Baker who has potentially brought Nikki that much closer to an AEW ring.

Personally, this isn’t a stunner, nor does it move needles. Beth Phoenix would be a more notable and capable get. Plus, Nikki Garcia currently does not have name recognition-much of that is tied to Nikki Bella, which is a name WWE controlled. But, perhaps she will blaze a new path?
