For around 1,316 days, Roman Reigns was the man. He held the WWE Universal Championship and WWE Championship during that run. After years of holding the gold, Cody Rhodes dethroned the champion to close WrestleMania 40. Since then, Solo Sikoa has transformed The Bloodline.

First, he kicked out Jimmy Uso. Then, after declaring Roman was not returning and he was “The Tribal Chief,” Paul Heyman would not agree. Therefore, the stable put him through a table. All of the madness has many under the impression Reigns is coming back. And, that seems to be the plan according to PWInsider. They added while many think it will happen at SummerSlam in early August, it could occur sooner. The idea of Reigns returning on SmackDown beforehand is also in discussion as the July 19 and July 26 shows are left.

Upon his comeback, look for Reigns to portray the face. Remember, fans hated when WWE pushed him as the top face in the company. When he turned heel, they liked that direction. It seems like The Bloodline will be having a civil war taking place. Hopefully, the angle is not overdone as the group needs to move-on.

Reigns’ previous title run will be part of history. It is not the longest ever, but certainly in modern history. I do not see anyone topping that record in the near future. Maybe in 50 years a wrestler can surpass those numbers, but that is not today. So, do you think Roman Reigns will make a WWE return at or before SummerSlam.
