The former two-division UFC champion obviously believes that can happen. But do you?
McGregor remains on target to meet Michael Chandler at UFC 303. The event takes place June 29 and marks his first fight since 2021.
After a press event was scrapped earlier this month, reports the fight could be next have surfaced. McGregor, though, appears to still be training despite indulging in other activities as well.
On his social media page, “Notorious” posted some videos of his recent sessions. He can be seen showing off his striking along with working on takedown defense.
Will The Old Conor McGregor Show Up At UFC 303?
From his UFC debut in 2013 through winning the featherweight title over Jose Aldo in 2015, McGregor was untouchable.
He knocked out Aldo in 13 seconds along with finishing Dustin Poirier. A win over Max Holloway was also thrown in the mix.
But since that time, McGregor is just 3-4 including back-to-back losses to Poirier. He suffered a gruesome injury in the most recent defeat.
Khabib Nurmagomedov and Nate Diaz have also scored submission wins over the Irish fighter.
